Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre a home to many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife.
‘Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is extremely proud of its efforts in wildlife education in South Africa. At Moholoholo we are often faced with the difficult decision of what to do with an injured or poisoned animal which will not be able to be released back into the wild. As a result, we have a number of “permanent residents” at the centre and at our own cost we use them as “ambassadors” for their respective species.
The Centre has a long standing and successful Serval Breeding Project and more than 160 have successfully been reintroduced to areas where they have become extinct. We are actively involved in research on the movement and behaviour of leopards and also on a number of vulture species that we monitor daily at our “vulture restaurant”.

IN THE WILD
THE REST CAMPS AND WILDLIFE SANCTUARY ACCOMS
We will be staying at rest camps directly in the middle of Kruger National Park!
You will sleep in the Kruger Park; you will hear the real sound of nature!
The ambience of the Rest Camp recalls the mood of yester-year Africa with red-roofed public buildings, thatched bungalows and neatly raked paths.
Satara Rest Camp is the Kruger National Park's third biggest rest camp, providing a range of Kruger National Park accommodation.
10)
Extra Accom
After our day touring the Panaramour route on day 2 (South Africas best road trip), we wil be sleeping over at Grassop Hotel.
‘The Graskop Hotel has been lovingly renovated and redecorated from the original “70’s style” hotel to become a quirky and interesting boutique art hotel offering luxurious accommodation in a homely and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a total of 37 en-suite bedrooms, 19 of the 22 upstairs bedrooms have been decorated by different contemporary South African artists. The 15 garden suites each have a patio overlooking the peaceful gardens. Unconventional art pieces are found around each corner.’
How does room allocation and room share work ?
Most rooms will be twin share rooms. At the halfway point from booking to when the trip commences, we will send out a questionnaire both by email and in the confirmed squad. This will be your opportunity to let us know a little bit about yourself, so that we can help match you up with like minded people.
You can request to stay with someone in particular. You can use the Whats app chats to swap socials, connect and build online relationships with others booked on to help you choose who to share with. We will always allocate girls to be with girls and boys to be with boys unless you specifically request to be with someone in particular.
When you fill out the questionnaire and we allocate you, we will connect you with your room buddy via email before hand to connect and build online relationship before.
If you and your roommate are not getting on for any reason you can request a room move from the Trip Manager and we will do everything we can to accommodate. Ultimately, your bed is only where you sleep and so most of the time our travellers all enjoy the shared experience of travelling together.
